PRP

What is platelet-rich plasma (PRP)?

Platelet-rich plasma consists of two elements: plasma, or the liquid portion of blood, and platelets,a type of blood cell that plays an important role in healing throughout the body. Platelets are well-known for their clotting abilities, but they also contain growth factors that can trigger cell reproduction and stimulate tissue regeneration or healing in the treated area. Platelet-rich plasma is simply blood that contains more platelets than normal.

To create platelet-rich plasma, clinicians take a blood sample from the patient and place it into a device called a centrifuge that rapidly spins the sample, separating out the other components of the blood from the platelets and concentrating them within the plasma.

What is a PRP injection?

After creating platelet-rich plasma from a patient’s blood sample, that solution is injected into the target area, such as an injured knee or a tendon. In some cases, the clinician may use ultrasound to guide the injection. The idea is to increase the concentration of specific bio proteins or hormones, called growth factors, in a specific area to accelerate the healing process.

The mechanism behind PRP injections is not completely understood. Studies show that the increased concentration of growth factors in platelet-rich plasma may stimulate or speed up the healing process, shortening healing time for injuries, decreasing pain and even encouraging hair growth.

Hair Loss

PRP injections can be effective in treating male pattern baldness, both in preventing hair loss and promoting new hair growth. PRP can also aid in the stimulation of hair growth after hair transplants.

Skin Rejuvenation

PRP injections are sometimes used as an anti-aging treatment, but there is little evidence to show that PRP reduces wrinkles and other signs of aging.

PRP Therapy Risks and Side Effects

A PRP injection is a low-risk procedure and does not usually cause major side effects. The procedure involves a blood draw, so you should make sure you are hydrated and have eaten beforehand to prevent feeling lightheaded. After the procedure, you may experience some soreness and bruising at the injection site.
Because PRP injections are made up of your own cells and plasma, the risk of an allergic reaction is much lower than with other injectable medications.

Botox

What are anti-wrinkle injections?

Anti-Wrinkle Injections are a simple, safe, and effective way to eliminate unwanted facial lines and deep wrinkles. They work to relax facial muscles making lines and wrinkles, such as worry lines, crow’s feet and frown lines, less obvious. The result is a softer, younger and more rejuvenated appearance.

The best part is, there is no surgery required. The treatment can be done within 30 minutes, so you don’t have to take time out of your busy schedule to get it done. We understand time is precious for our clients so we do our best to work around you to ensure you get the best results without interrupting your personal or work life.

How does it really work?

The injections work by relaxing the targeted area muscles, which block your nerves and muscles’ signal pathways. Without the nerves’ signal, the muscles relax and cease contracting, which leads to fewer lines and wrinkles

We can administer the treatments to most areas of your face: the most common areas being around the eyes (crow’s feet), forehead, and frown lines. And as part of our consultation, we will help you decide which areas would be best suited for the results you are trying to achieve. You can expect to see results within 5-10 days, which typically last for 3-6 months. Once the treatment has worn off, you can then have a top-up that will bring back your first treatment’s youthful glow.

However, we do not recommend having treatments too often as the body can build up antibodies, making the treatment useless. If you’re considering anti-wrinkle treatment, the first step is to consult with one of our friendly, experienced clinicians who can answer your questions and explain the process in detail. You can then make a balanced, informed decision about whether the treatment is right for you, and begin your journey towards a more confident you. However, we do not offer our services to anyone below the age of 18, and we do no perform anti-wrinkle injections on anyone who is currently pregnant or breastfeeding

After completing the treatment, we do not recommend exercising for up to 24 hours or having any massage therapy done to the treated area. This ensures that the injections have enough time to work and for you to receive the full benefit. We recommend taking the rest of the day of work if you receive treatment in the morning. You may experience a few minor side effects such as swelling or redness in the treated areas. However, this should not last much longer than three days. If you are still feeling effects after a week, we recommend you seek medical advice.

Mesotherapy

What is Mesotherapy for the face?

This rejuvenation technique produces microinjections of vitamins, enzymes, antioxidants, and plant extracts to tighten and refresh the skin. It was first developed in 1952 by a doctor in France called Michel Pistor.
These microscopic amounts of solution injected into the skin will promote collagen and elastin production within the deeper layers of the skin. Not only this, but Mesotherapy facial treatment can treat cellulite. This is done by targeting fatty cells, reducing their appearance by breaking them down and improving circulation.

What can Mesotherapy Facial treat?

* Fine lines
* Wrinkles
* Sun damage
* Uneven skin tone
* Pigmentation
* Dark circles
* Under-eye bags
* Crows feet
* Dull & tired skin
* Problematic skin
* Oily congested skin
* Mild acne scarring

What can Mesotherapy Facial treat?

Like Microneedling, which creates minuscule puncture marks using multiple microscopic needles, Mesotherapy combines a bespoke cocktail of powerful nutrients injected into the lower layers of the skin using a meso device with one needle.  Mesotherapy for the face will target and improve dull-looking skin, superficial wrinkles and enhance sluggish blood circulation, helping the body flush out ageing toxins.
